Every girl deserves to hear those three little words from the man she loves. And if you’re anything like me, they sound like this:
I made reservations.
As a twenty-something living in metro Atlanta, my idea of the ultimate romantic gesture is done via OpenTable. So when I was invited to check out one of the city’s latest and greatest culinary additions, Little Alley Steak, I jumped at the chance. There’s been a lot of buzz surrounding the steakhouse’s new presence in Buckhead, as its inaugural location in Roswell was named one of the Top 100 Steakhouses in America back in 2016. So you may be wondering… did it live up to the hype?
Absolutely! Little Alley Steak had everything you could ask for in a fine dining experience: swoon-worthy interiors, an eager and knowledgeable waitstaff, and food that is equally stunning and delicious. I tend to always judge a restaurant heavily on its bread service and this one did not disappoint— think fluffy, savory rolls and lots of butter. For my entree, I ordered a 6oz medium-rare wet-aged filet and it was cooked to perfection. The steak was so tender, it melted in my mouth. If you’re not a fan of red meat, the menu is chockfull of incredible alternatives including an impressive selection of seafood. I was too full for dessert, but not to worry, I will definitely be back!
Some juicy jumbo shrimp!
Will you just look at that lobster tail?
The perfect filet.
You could say no meal is complete without mac ‘n cheese.
Okay, so I really like shrimp.
